We are excited to introduce one of our special edition 1 of 1 shirts, each handmade in New York City in our Atelier using small cuts of deadstock materials as part of our commitment to more sustainable and eco friendly practices. In addition, 50% of the proceeds from these one of a kind pieces will be donated to “The House Project” to support those affected by the devastating earthquakes in Venezuela and Colombia.
A reinterpretation of the classic US Army popover shirt the M-35, our version is cut in a classic blue and white cotton oxford. These shirts have a boxy oversized silhouette, two large side-entry front pockets, a “denim jacket” style collar, and Japanese Mother of Pearl buttons.
In its making
Cut from a 6oz blue and white cotton oxford cloth, the fabric is light weight with a soft drape. It is pre washed and pre shrunk before cutting so the shirt will have a broken in feel with minimal shrinkage.
The construction draws from vintage military references—retaining functional elements such as the pullover placket and oversized patch pockets, while refining proportion and silhouette.
Each piece is made by hand in New York, in limited runs.
Fit
Boxy through the body with a straight hem.
Sits slightly shorter than a traditional shirt.
Take your normal size for a relaxed/oversized fit.
Size down for a closer, more contained silhouette.
In wear
